Greater Canton Meeting, Monday, January 12th, 7pm

Below is info from Sophia Feller of the WWNP on our first greater canton meeting in 2009. Several of the cantons have been meeting individually since our last meeting. Petitions have been started and reps have been elected. This is our chance to see what the other cantons have come up with, and to kick off 2009 with a concentrated effort toward planning the community gardens we'll be planting in the Spring--Happy New Year, Everybody! : )

This is a reminder that the next general canton meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12th 2009 at Legacy Ministries at 120 South 12th Street (next to Centennial Park). Put the date on your calendar. One of the items on the agenda will be community gardens. Do you have a pocket park in your Canton that would make a suitable spot for a garden? This is one of the items that will be discussed.

An agenda will be sent out next week, if you have items to add to the agenda, please send them to me.
